Is there an API into the "Network Serial Port Kit" to tell when another user in using the remote physical port from a client machine? Is there a way to get modem status/events from the port on the server end?

Hi,
There is API for NSPK but it does not allow to know if the remote COM port is occupied or not.
As to modem/error status, you can read it from the virtual COM port. Local virtual COM port appears as exact copy of the remote physical COM port.

Thanks!

Thanks again Andrew, sorry for so many posts. I haven't found where to get the API or VB documentation for the different packages yet. Where is it for NSPK API and VSPC ActiveX component?
