It seems that's it impossible to restart the usb service, is this correct?

Hi,
If you really need to restart the service, please kill GUI process first of all (it's running in the background), then restart the service and start GUI process once again.

Thanks that sorted it. I don't really need to restart the service normally, but like to know why things don't work! :)
