Device Connected and Recognized - Generic Driver

Hello,
 
I'd like to test your product for possible deployment across a small network.
 
I am using a microphone called "Dictaphone PowerMic" and I am guessing the reason it does not work is because it isn't loading the correct driver on the server-side (it isn't identified as a Dictaphone on the server in Device Manager, whereas it is on the workstation Device Manager).
 
Is there a way to force it to load specific drivers for this purpose?  The mic has a number of crucial buttons on it and I cannot enable the mic without depressing the "DICTATE" button.
 
ADDENDUM:  My Audio Properties only show "Microsoft RDP Audio Driver" and show no recording devices.
 
The server shows a device is connected, but does not specify the type of device.  (When not redirected, the device is shown on the workstation as "Dictaphone PowerMic - USB Composite Device".

Hello.
 
There is a couple of questions I need to ask you.
 
1. How are you going to share your device - via Network or via RDP?  
2. Please specify the OS you use on your Local and remote machine or in your Network.
 
 
P.S. Also keep in mind that as soon as you share your device it will disappear from your host computer and will appear on your remote computer.

1.  The device would ideally be shared via RDP, as in a live scenario, the user will be off-network and logging on via RDP.
2.  The workstation is Windows XP SP2, the server is Windows Server 2003.
 
The device appears on the remote machine, however, it only appears as a mic, and not specifically the Dicatphone.  Without it being a Dictaphone, the buttons on the mic do not work, thus it cannot be enabled.

Did you install the correct drivers for your PowerMic on both sides - Workstation side and Server side? If not please do it.
