Title: connection issue to virtual machines Post by mconsidi on May 7th, 2008, 1:12pm Hi, we run USB over Network as a means to connect virtual machines to two HASP devices. Unfortunately, we had another machine connected that seems to have been shut down without closing the connection to the server properly. We disabled and reenabled the affected device, which seems to have closed the connection, but now we are unable to reconnect the appropriate virtual machine. Meanwhile, another device is still working appropriately, and connected to a different vm. What is the correct way to deal with this issue? Thanks! |

Title: Re: connection issue to virtual machines Post by Andrew on May 8th, 2008, 4:44am Hi, It should handle it correctly. Try to unshare 2 devices, then remove devices on client side (if there are any devices still present), then unplug and plug devices physically, share devices and try to connect them again (note: you can use "connect by Device ID" option on the client side, to connect specified HASP (if your HASPs are identical). Thanks! |

Title: Re: connection issue to virtual machines Post by mconsidi on May 8th, 2008, 8:06am This has gone downhill, unfortunately. The Windows is now unable to properly recognize the hasp devices, and the USB over Network server is giving me an error message when I try and start it up. Program cannot start because of the following error: Error (2).Module: FtShellApp (216). |
