Thks, Liam |

Title: Re: which IP address to use Post by Andrew on Apr 5th, 2007, 3:38am Hi Liam, Thank you for your interest in our solutions. As I understand, you wish to connect two PCs over Internet using virtual modems. One virtual modem can "dial" other virtual modem and IP address of the remote PC is used as phone number. So, if your remote PC has static IP address you need to specify that IP address. In some cases (if remote PC is under router, you can specify router's IP and configure port forwarding). In other words you need to configure PCs to be able to ping remote PC from local PC. Then you will be able to dial remote PC via virtual modem. Thanks. |

How do we "Dial" a virtual modem from a remote PC (on LAN Network) or telephone ? If possible please let me know if there is any application present to do the same. Best Regards, Akash Dongre |
